Finding Information
Finding information within InfoTrac Custom Newspapers is easy using the interface search functionality. Articles are quickly located by title, headline, date, author name, section or other assigned fields.
Searching the Database
Basic Search provides quick access to articles in the database by subject, keyword or by searching entire documents. Publication Search functions similarly, accessing articles in the database by publication title or part of the title. Advanced Search allows users to enter multiple search terms, chosen from an expanded list of options including abstract, author name, word count, document number and others, to allow for more targeted searching.

Clicking on “more search options” using any of these options allows users to quickly expand or limit searching to full-text documents, by publication date, publication title, or target audience, as well as by newspaper section.
Results
Results may be sorted by publication date or by relevance. In addition, related subject terms are listed in the left column sidebar, offering instant access to additional articles from related subject searches. Results can be quickly expanded or limited to full-text documents, by publication date, publication title, or target audience as well as by newspaper section. Users can then easily print, e-mail or download articles.
Customize the Database
Unique to InfoTrac Custom Newspapers, users can fully customize the database, selecting specific titles, renaming the database and customizing the screen layouts. The search interface also can be instantly translated from English into Spanish, French or Portuguese.
