Sharon Cade has taught mathematics and been a department chair in both public and independent schools since 1978. She has been an AP Reader since 1995 and has also been a Table Leader and Question Team Member. Sharon has been honored as the Oregon State Winner of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching. Rhea Caldwell has taught mathematics in independent schools since 1978 and has been chairman of the Mathematics Department of Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina, since 1990. She was recognized in 2002 as the North Carolina Teacher of the Year for Independent Schools by the North Carolina Council of Teachers of Mathematics. She has taught calculus for over twenty years and has been an AP Calculus reader since 2003. Jeff Lucia has taught mathematics in independent schools since 1978, and for over twenty years has been at Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina. Since 1989, he has worked for the College Board as a reader and table leader for the examination grading in AP Calculus and AP Statistics. In 1992, he was a founding member of the board of directors for the North Carolina Association of Advanced Placement Mathematics Teachers (NCA2PMT), where he serves as membership chairman.
