The work's + 50 important books on sustainability offers the reader the essence of the ideas of the 50 most important books on the planet, the relationship between its inhabitants, technological solutions, new business and economic philosophical ideas, policy proposals and a program of international retirement encouraging reflection on the ways to plan a more balanced world. His starting point was a poll among senior leaders and former students of Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership (CPSL), who in 2008 began an ambitious project to identify the most influential books on sustainability, interviewing as many authors as possible and compile their findings in an accessible review. The result is one of the largest global analysis of social, environmental and ethical challenges that everyone is facing today, and possible creative solutions for each of them.
