Encyclopaedia of the Qur'an

The Encyclopaedia of the Qur'an is the first comprehensive reference work on the Qur'an, Islam's primary religious text, to appear in any Western language, and should be considered a major work in Islamic studies scholarship. It is a fully international work, having over 200 scholars from around the world collaborate on almost 1,000 entries.
