Huang Ji-kun is professor and director of the Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research covers a wide range of issues on China's agricultural and rural development, including work on agricultural R&D policy, water resource economics, price and marketing, poverty, and trade policy. In addition to co-authoring 16 books, he has published more than 330 journal papers, of which more than 150 papers have been published in refereed international journals, including Science and Nature.; Tao Ran is professor at the School of Economics and the director of China Center for Public Economics and Governance at Renmin University of China.; Xu Zhigang is associate professor at the Center for Chinese Agricultural Policy of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the director of the Economic Division, National Maize Modern Industrial Program.; Liu Mingxing is associate professor, China Institute for Educational Finance Research at Peking University.; Rozelle Scott holds the Helen Farnsworth Endowed Professorship at Stanford University and is senior fellow and professor at the Food Security and Environment Program and the Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center, Freeman Spogli Institute (FSI) for International Studies.
