Overview
Wu Yu (1874-1939) exerted a substantial influence during the May Fourth Movement, and his collected works can be considered one of the three classic texts to come out of the New Cultural Movement, the other two being Extant Writings of Hu Shih and Extant Writings of Duxiu. This book collects almost the entire body of Wu's currently-extant works other than his diaries, including Literary Records, Records: Book Two, Other Records, and poems and letters, which have been meticulously edited and organized for this edition.
