SCHOOL LIBRARIAN SURVEY SAYS: 70% plan to maintain digital changes, updates, and processes implemented in the past year.1

The COVID-19 crisis led to an unprecedented rise in remote and digital teaching across the nation. Though not quite as crisis oriented as they were in spring 2020, librarians around the nation are still navigating through a period of great change, blending their physical and digital spaces and rising to support key district initiatives, like recovering unfinished learning and supporting social and emotional learning.

Partners at the American Library Association; Booklist; and Gale, a Cengage company, spoke with teachers, librarians, and administrators at the top of their game and gathered a selection of survey responses from nearly 500 school librarians to bring you an updated list of best practices that will help you be a change agent for your school community.
