Carrie Kennersly, owner of the Barkery and Biscuits bake shop, is going hiking with her brother Neal and his new romantic interest, Janelle Blaystone. Carrie sympathizes with Janelle, whose beloved black Lab was dognapped. But soon after Janelle confronts wealthy Ada Arnist, who was spotted at the dog park when he was stolen, Ada is found dead - and Janelle and Neal are suspects.
