Legends of the Desert (Book 1)
February 1, 1896: Attorney Albert Fountain drove his wagon across New Mexico's Tularosa basin on the way home from a grand jury indictment of ranchers for cattle theft. His wife, Mariana, believing no one attacked a man with a little boy, had begged him to take their young son. Henry exuberantly agreed to be her knight and protect his father. History shows that Albert and Henry disappeared that day. Legend says Henry survived to avenge his father. Only the wind and dead men know for sure.
