This title explores the life of Marie Curie, one of the greatest scientists of the twentieth century. She coined the term radioactivity and, working with her husband, the French scientist Pierre Curie, she discovered the elements radium and polonium. She not only pioneered research into atomic structure, but also provided a model for women scientists everywhere.
